Structural Settlement Surveys

Settlement in a structure refers to the distortion or disruption of parts of a building due to unequal compression of its foundation. If these settlements are reported as and when they happen, possible measures could be planned to prevent further damage. But mostly, settlement reports based on the data collected at fixed time intervals come in handy to study the behaviour of the structure compared with the bearing capacity of soil there.
